If I remember correctly, the next cake I tried to make creative was Noah's 3rd birthday cake -- He wanted a Thomas cake. I went and picked up a round cake pan big enough to accomodate a circle of track because Noah had a Thomas engine that was battery operated and I thought it would be so cute for him to blow out his candles while the train was circling the track! He loved it! I still had no clue how to add detail or more color to the cake, but he was so happy and so was I! I loved seeing how big his smile was as that train ran around the track and he was blowing out his candles.
